Neben der Darstellung der Sch\u00f6nheit der Landschaft geht es mir in meinen Arbeiten vor allem um das Verh\u00e4ltnis zwischen Mensch und Natur.<\/p>

Meine Aquarelle entstehen h\u00e4ufig plein air oder, wenn das norddeutsche Wetter oder die Situation dies nicht zul\u00e4sst, arbeite ich basierend auf vor Ort angefertigten Skizzen und Fotos. Die Motive entdecke ich meist auf Radtouren und kleinen Wanderungen. Im Gegensatz zu diesen eher ruhigen Beobachtungen wird in Aquarellen aus der Reihe \u201eVorbeigefahren\u201c die Momentaufnahme einer w\u00e4hrend einer Auto- oder Bahnfahrt schnell am Fenster vorbeiziehenden Landschaft malerisch eingefroren.<\/p>

Ein motivischer Schwerpunkt meiner Bilder liegt auf den K\u00fcsten der Nord- und Ostsee, zu denen es mich als ehemalige Inselbewohnerin immer wieder hinzieht. Die Pr\u00e4gung der Landschaft durch den Menschen zeigt sich besonders in den durch Deichbau dem Meer entrungenen und entw\u00e4sserten Marschen. Weitere Motive sind Flusslandschaften an St\u00f6r, Eider und Elbe, die von der Nordsee und ihren Gezeitenkr\u00e4ften beeinflusst werden. Das sich st\u00e4ndig ver\u00e4ndernde Licht, Str\u00f6mungen und wechselnde Wasserst\u00e4nde, bis hin zum Entstehen von Wattfl\u00e4chen, machen das Malen vor Ort interessant und zugleich herausfordernd. \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
